Nigeria Christmas Festival

Since 2018, we’ve partnered with KDI to put on a two-day Christmas celebration for thousands of children, single moms, and widows in a remote village in Plateau State, Nigeria. This celebration includes food for all, bounce houses, organized competitions, games, shows, and a bag of books and pens/pencils for each child.

This year, we’re excited to help host another Christmas Fest 🎄 Additional funds raised will also help KDI open offices and begin their women’s entrepreneurial start-up program

  • KDI was founded by Isaiah Lengmang to support internally displaced people and vulnerable populations (single mothers and widows). A local population living in the confines of a remote village was identified.  KDI leadership met tribal leaders and obtained approval to hold their first 2 day festival for the children of the village and surrounding area. 1,900 children receive gifts and food.

  • KDI expanded to provide a free medical clinic for a different community. And in partnership with a local optometrist, was able to provide free glasses and eye exams. Christmas Fest expanded with attendance soaring to 3,000 children.

  • The arrival of COVID shifted KDI to local response programs where 30 single mothers received aid grants during the initial lockdown

For Christmas, KDA adopted a local orphanage, Kingdom Kids.  KDI volunteers came and served the kids and staff with cleaning, haircuts, and party on Christmas Day.  Additionally, a cow was purchased along with pantry goods to provide 40 single moms with 3 months of supplies.

Relentless Football Academy

Even at the local level, professional football can provide sufficient income to support families. Unfortunately, most FIFA-affiliated academies are out of reach for the poorest of families. Even worse, desperate parents are often lured into the trap of selling most of their assets to cover enrollment fees for fake or unregistered academies. RFA was founded in response to this reality.

We aim to provide stability for families by creating a platform that:

  1. Provides a path to professional athletics

  2. Provides educational opportunities to academy members through academic scholarships

  3. Raises the standard and care for local professional football clubs and academies

  • Founded in Jos, Nigeria. Head Coach is Viktor Wikadadsan, former captain of Plateau State United.

  • Enrollment of 130 players ages 9-19. Sponsored the first Relentless Cup—an annual event meant to provide a scouting platform for professional teams.

  • By 2025, we want 75% of the budget self-sustained by individual player signings, with the remaining 25% covered by local sponsorships.
